The Balaghat Education Sanstha was established in June 1971 at Naldurg tq-tuljapur, Initially the santha did a pious work to open the Arts, Science and Commerce College at Naldurg.
The city tuljapur has a glorious historical, religious and spiritual Background. The presence of Tuljabhavani and the visit of Shri. Chatrapati Shivray made the city holy and pious. However, there was no facility of science college in the city. Hence, to provide the new opportunities of knowledge the santha has opened a science college at tuljapur in June 1990. Which was initially on Non-grant basis.
In the beginning the college was opened with the first year of bachelor of Science at Tuljapur. Thereafter the sanstha opened two other brances namely Arts and Commerce in 1992.
Yeshwantrao Chavan Mahavidyalaya, Tuljapur Dist. Osmanabad is established in 1990. Our college is multi-discipline and permanently affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad since June 2005.
